Amphibian Ecology I am studying the ecology of an amphibian community that utilizes a natural ephemeral pond in the Ozark Mountains (Stone County). I have observed 15 different species utilizing the pond for breeding. For my study I am looking at the demographics, the natural history, and the reproductive success of the various species at the pond. Through a mark recapture study I am also examining the distance adults migrate to the pond to breed, the dispersal distance of juveniles from the pond, and the overall terrestrial ecology of the various species.
