Avian Ecology

Research Topic:  The distribution, abundance, and habitat affinities of Bewick’s Wrens (Thryomanes bewickii) in Arkansas

My research entails determining the current status of Bewick’s Wrens in Arkansas and estimating their occupancy rate within the state. I am also interested in the effect other wren species may have on their nesting success.

In general I am interested in conservation biology, wildlife management, and avian ecology.
